Section Schedule MUSC 151 Digital Music Production I This course introduces students to writing, producing and performing music in the digital workspace, with a focus on club-based genres such as Techno, House and Hip-Hop. The course will trace the historical roots of dance music and club culture from its earliest incarnations in radio, through Northern Soul, Disco, Garage, Hip-Hop, House, Techno, etc. Students will apply various software and hardware combinations to create basic arrangements through regular project work. The course includes a final-project finished track.
